Frost Family Foundation Donates Funds for Pavilion
On December 15, two members of the Steve and Lisa Frost Family Foundation presented an unsolicited check to the Board of the Lone Oak Community Civic League (LOCCL) to fund a permanent pavilion on the grounds of the Lone Oak Community Center. The generous donation will enable the Civic League to build a 30β X 60β pavilion with a basic kitchen, restrooms, lights, and a ceiling fan.
Providing an outdoor shelter where Lone Oak residents can meet for family gatherings, parties, and special events, has long been a dream of LOCCL members. Other possible uses for the pavilion include a free family movie night, musical entertainment, and other community events.
LOCCL President Tommy Johnson said, βThe Frost Family has blessed us with this donation; we are truly grateful to them.β
Construction for the pavilion is expected to start in the Spring of 2023.
