The Sequatchie County Tax Assessor’s Office oversees the appraisal and assessment of properties as well as the billing and collection of property taxes for all taxable real estate located in Sequatchie County.

Contact the assessor’s office if you need help with paying your property taxes, applying for a homestead exemption or other tax exemption, reporting upgrades to your home, appealing your property tax assessment, or verifying your property records.

Sequatchie County Register of Deeds

The Register of Deeds is a constitutional office established by the Tennessee state legislature as the official record keeper of legal documents pertaining to real property. These documents include Warranty Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Releases, Power of Attorney, Liens, Plats, Amendments and other miscellaneous documents designated by state law to be recorded by the Register of Deeds.

Thursday September 1, 7:30 PM Eastern at our LOCC monthly meeting, there will be a short business meeting followed by a special event featuring some of our County officials.
